Fully waterproof (apparently), easy to fit, cheaper than a fusion. It's what i would have fitted to the fletcher if we didn't already have a "letterbox" style DIN slot for one.

Not sure to expect much in terms of sound quality but on an open boat and with occasional use, this is probably no problem.

I decidied against a fixed radio and use one of these instead Carl, excellent sound quality, Bluetooth to mobile phone so all my music is to hand, plus radio if I want it. Rubberised and rugged so it doesn't slide around whilst under way, and can be moved between cabin/cockpit/bows depending on where we are sitting.

I have a bowrider and mine us mounted in the glove box. With removable facia. To be honest not sure what make it is. I think it is factory fitted by Seafox.

As Im currently fitting a stereo I can only say Fusion but they are not worth the extra cash for a bowrider imho. I got mine on ebay as its a mk1 version for £99 new but full price I wouldnt bother. That said the others are right a kenwwood/sony w/proof unit wont last much more than a car stereo unless you waterproof it somehow.

Watch the spacing on your dash, the fusion is tiny and wont fit in the gapping hole left by any waterproof facia or standard DIN if it was fitted before. Yesterday I had to fashion a plate out of a hardplastic polypropalyne (white chopping) board in order to fill the hole & mount the stereo into. Sounds s###t but it actually worked. its a shame that who ever decided to fit waterproof covers on both boats decided to hack a massive hole into the dash boards.
