On the scrounge - old Navionics charts

Hi, I just wondered if anyone had any old Navionics Hot Maps, Premium or Gold charts that they didn't want anymore? I've never had a chart in my Lowrance Elite 4DSI Fishfinder/Chartplotter but this Whit I'm taking the boat to Barmouth for the week so if I could get hold of a chart for North Wales (even borrow one) I could try it out! I assume they get updated reasonably regularly, hence wondering if anyone had an old one.

(You can tell I'm a fresh water boater I know...)

Navionics Gold cards are no longer supported Nick, so updates have stopped. You need to upgrade to Navionics+ at a cost of £200 to get updates.

Ask me how I know? Because I have a 10 month old Gold card that is no longer supported, although Navionics are being exceptionally helpful in offering to sell me an upgrade to navionics+ for £95!

Having said that there could now be some cheap Gold cards around if you are not bothered about upgrades.

I had a Navionics gold update last year . I had fitted a new plotter which needed a micro SD card.
The original CF card, which I had from my previous plotter, was returned to me .
But when I tried the old CF card in another chartplottter the charts appeared to have been wiped - or at least they were not viewable.

So beware of buying used cards .
If its an honest seller that's fine of course.
