South West Sports Boat Rally 2016

by Sheppy » 22 Mar 2016, 13:16

I want to let you know about our South West Sports Boat Rally 2016 in May that we’re holding in Brixham, South Devon. This non-profit event offers boaters loads of fun, social and boating. All the information you need is on our website, so check it out and see if it’s for you. Any questions can be sent via the website contact form or you can ask here.

Our schedule has been uploaded so you can see what we’re up to. Our event has been going now since 2011 and has been growing in popularity every year.

We hire the events pontoon in Brixahm so you have somewhere to berth for the whole weekend.
We’re offering a range of stuff including a fantastic raffle, boat awards, cruises, BBQ and much more.

We only have about 5 spaces left at the moment, so if you want to join us, please register sooner rather than later to avoid any disappointment.

Thank you,

John

Im signed up and due to come, HOWEVER Betty is still in wraps and not summarised yet, (kitchen rebuild taking a tad too long) Assuming she works I'll be there, Weather will be a big issue given the distance I have to tow though, however if its gale force 9 all weekend then I won't be coming  I spend enough time in Torquay rain & wind with a local pensioner to go there by choice.

We'll be leaving Peterborough area at 6.30pm Friday so getting in late, not sure where we're staying, either slumping it in Brigham Marina or at Daddies just down the road.

Hi All,
Seagull 2 (fletcher 19gts) is currently on the drive, she is all anti fowled and just needs a polish and all the electronics fitting back in and she is good to go ! Planning on putting her back in the water on Sunday... (Stand by for wettest day of the year)
Looking forward to next month !
Cheers

Myself with Wake up are coming down on Friday morning (reminds me I need to ring and book the extra night) and a mate with his Maxum with newly fitted 350 mag mpi :)

I'm still coming even if the weather is poo, I'll just put the 25ft Regal next to the caravan we've rented :?

Well the boat is back in the water, and it was nice yesterday so even got an hour out in Torbay, really happy with the boat and I cant believe what a difference new Anti-Foul makes ! 30 knots with 2 people on board yesterday ! On my last trip out in October I struggled to get her up to 19 ! All we need now is a proper nice summer !
See you all in May.
Cheers

Any one know the length of the smallest and biggest boat that is coming.

My Brothers and my boat are 17 foot bow riders
