PBO - Cor Blimey!

by annageek » 22 Feb 2016, 23:45

I know it's not my usual style - to go on about boats powered by rags and sticks... but has anybody seen that 'Hantu Biru' project boat in Practical Boat Owner. Cor Blimey! What a beautiful boat she is! I would love a boat just like her!

And I hear they're putting her for grabs in a competition!

And I hear they've drawn the winner!

And I hear the winner took delivery this week and is as pleased as punch and has already found time to take her out for a sail!

And I hear that they winner's mug is all over this month's edition of Practical Boat Owner magazine!

And I hear the winner's name was Anna something-or-other!

And I hear the winner looks exactly like me!

:D

It's been a manic few weeks, but the word 'elated' just does not begin to describe it!

You've got to be in it to win it they say. Well, I was in it, but I never expected to win it :D

You always assume that nobody really wins these things, until you do!

Well done. :D

Wow!! Well done. What a result, as long as you don't start preaching about giving way to your sails now!!!
