Up against the wall tomorrow

Strange. No I do not have this problem with stainless. Are your props polished SS? Anything that tries to stick to mine gets thrown off withing the first few revs and we have a huge barnacle and mussel problem here. Mindyou I was very pleased to note that the commercial grade AF I put on hull and drivesdid not have a single show of growth in 6 months. Not even a teeny weeny baby barnacle. Really delighted. Got a 30 litre drum for £120. Yep. Us leasure boaters get raped at £200 odd quid for 5 litres. I'll be buying more Glenlievet single malts next application. Cheap at the price. God love the trawlers. Mind you, I was sick as a dog for a month after putting it on, I can see why the govt wants to ban DIY AF application, and I had a mask and PPE on. God knows what they put in the commercial grade stuff, or if it is even any different that leasure, apart from price that is.

Yes it is polished. After a couple of weeks say last year I had about a foot of weed trailing in the current. Not good!
That antifoul sounds great, could you get 2 tubs next time? :D

Why two? I only used 12 litres and sold the remaining 18 litres for £175. The guy was delighted. Thought all his Christmasses had come at once. Paid for the PPE kit that did. So it only cost me a single malt @ 40 bucks or so. So you are more than welcome next time round so long as you fetch. Unfortunately 30 litres is the smallest you get it in.

Very curious about your weed problem. But we dont get weed here so much. Bit of slime and a few pollopy type weeds of about an inch that come off even without AF as soon as you get up to speed. Barnacles and mussels by the zillion though..... but not any more

So long as you dont have half a million layers accumulated that you have to scrape off it's 2 x 4 hour sessions. If you do have to scrape back I cant recommend slurry blasting enough. There was a crew doing a few boats in the yard. Very professional and took them a day and £400 to clean a boat back to gel coat and no damage to the gel coat either. Hands of a surgeon.

8 hours and mine.

Love Formulas......my favourite boats. Had a 292 SR1 once....really thirsty but DDG (drop dead gorgeous)...sold it because I was racing and that took too much time.

If I ever sell my Sundancer I would look for one. Nice boat Bruce.
