Last night was the Chiswick Christmas party - luckily crew choose not to attend and instead do this -

Very sad situation.

Do the crews have any form of care after a situation like this?

yes they do but I'm sad to say its not used. When I pulled out a stiff but alive guy there was nothing said after returning to bed, I suppose its part of the work and you get used to it like the rest of the 999 services. The RNLI put out a PTSD guide with 3 crew members on the front it was ironic, 2 of them had already quit after 2 separate incidents of trauma.
