That's an excellent flat out speed, 40mph is not sluggish and of course reasonably exciting!

You should know A certain Ianfs enjoying a day out. I seem to recall something very similar to 40kn on the gps that day

Thank you for those great pictures Colin. My two wonderful sons. I'm boasting I know, but its a fathers perogative and you have two wonderfully intelligent daughters, as I have as well. However its the lads turn and therefore it's Tom in the stern, studying PHD in Nano Tech at Royal Holloway and Jack in the navigators seat, living near Orlando Florida, with his wife currently with a very big production company. Showing off over!

I say, 40knts. I have to say that with Carb bit fitted from the US, we got 52 mph on GPS when I revved it a bit just outside Newhaven, but please.....don't tell the speed limiter (SWMBO), she still thinks it was about 40!

I'm only saying 40 knots cos that's all I can do flat out, and I was flat out at times trying to keep you in sight

Don't mention the anode, I had fixed it in place securely, honest!!

Just routine maintenance or breakages?

A bit of further re-plumbing on the loo / holding tank - have pretty much replaced the whole lot now, so should hopefully be reliable when completed!

Don't think so, you were easily keeping ahead, and I was one up not like you with your hulking chaps aboard. I was very impressed with the Sea Ray until we hit the Calshot messy seas when the Monterey's deeper V seemed to cope better.
