Fantastic Martin and James, thank you for posting. I hoped you may have posted the dates/months in which you were out to see the difference in the weather, the Henley Festival is around July though so that helped.

What I would say though is that the Regal certainly looks sleek, elegant and when it sits at rest she looks like one mean mother you don't want to mess with!! :? 8-)

great vid, feeling like i must get a go pro cam at some point.

1 question, how do you get on/off board at Calshot? it looked very well handled and professional but wet feet etc off camera?

As James says, we used another boat. With the bowrider we could step on and off the front but the cuddy cabin on the current boat is beyond my agility, therefore I row out with a dinghy. Dominic (DPB) had a stainless ladder made that he could hook over the front for the same purpose on his cuddy.

The video contains clips from April to October. The ones in which we can be seen wearing coats were the April trip. All the other clips have us wearing tee-shirts (including Marks boat in October). The Solent shots were 17th April, 27th May, 17th July-23rd July, 8th October. Poole was 6th June and 12th August plus Marks trip.

Henley was the beginning of July.

This years "plan" sees us:

Sunday 8th Jan - London boat show.
Henley Regatta - 28th June/2nd July
Henley Festival - 5th/9th July
Yarmouth - 16th/21st July
Solent - all of Aug/Sept/Oct :) :) - including Southampton boat show

Its only a plan at this stage.

Great vid Martin,

Probably a good idea that you didn't show how close I came to you when circling you - I have video footage from my cam and it frightens me when I look at it!

Hope to see you this year around the Solent.

Are you interested in the Brixham rally at the end of May? Its a really sociable event and new waters to discover.
