Arrggg. Sods Law

by BruceK » 22 Sep 2016, 08:46

Been a magnificent indian summer the last few days with blue skies and the sea as flat as a mill pond. As the day of the lift out looms we are trying to squeeze every last moment we can out of the boat. This weekend though there is 35mph winds. Why is that always the case huh? :(

:D It's been a good season, I'm just not ready to call it quits yet.

Normally with Anglesey you can always find a place on a windward shore that you can still use. Unfortunately this weekend Conwy Bay will experience a 2m chop to the beam which rules out getting to any sheltered shoreline. So far this year with the exception of my recovery period after the heart attack I have only lost about 4 weekends so it hasn't been a bad year. It didn't help my recovery period was slap in the middle of the best boating weather though.
