The boating season is here!

by Matt13 » 02 Apr 2016, 07:25

Had a great trip out yesterday took a friend out who'd not been on the boat before.
We headed over to the lifeboat in east cowes for a pub lunch.

Sea state was relatively calm compared to the force 3 biting winds. Boat handled well, all in a good first proper trip out for 2016...

having landed from Dubai on Saturday I was a bit concerned I'd left UK winter and come back to UK late spring and missed out on a lot of get ready to go boating time. I was a little happier when I saw last nights country file forecast that the boat season will be on hold for a few weeks with the cold coming back. Phew, stress over for the moment :o

Could be as simple as a sticky switch which doesn't turn off a bulb or something similar. Did you have a new battery installed?

He mentioned something about disconnecting a cathode which he will have a look at next time he's down, have had a new battery as well previous.
