I didn't dare go on the big boys toys. Stands looked too scary and they would take one look at me and spot my lack of cash

My plan, in the very (very!!) unlikely event that I should come into some
Serious money, is to go into a number of supercar and high end boat dealers to buy a number of 'toys', dressed as the scruffiest I could manage.. Just to see if they are willing to look past it!!
I wonder how many would?

I went twice this year first time on the opening day, lots of room to walk around went on plenty of boats.

Second time I went with my son which was the last Saturday , it was heaving, really busy queues to get on many boats. Of course my lad wanted to look at every boat!

We did sail, catamaran, and power plus he loved the bumper boats.

At first the Prin/Sun/Fair stands may appear intimidating but it's really not, all were happy to show you on, some understandably had waiting lists or appointments which we couldn't be bothered to wait for so just kept moving on.

Good to see and chat with James both times at the inter boat stand thanks for letting my lad clamber all over it !

I'm with Martin regarding the V39 one of my favourites but for 200k less you can get a Sealine SC35, can't see what more the 200k gets you to be honest.

The exterior of the sealines may not appeal to many but they are masters at getting space inside the boat.

Still 50/50 on what to do personally, sell the crownline and get a boat in a few years or ride out these next few years and keep the boat but use it less.

I still enjoy visiting the show so hoping it was a good year for those involved.

Regarding the scruffy thing and being judged by salesmen I think that's pretty old hat now , you speak to many a salesman and they say you can never tell so to treat everyone as a potential client. Either that or there's just a lot more scruffy millionaires out there now !
