Part of the training involved high speed beach assault .. flat out at the beach to get boat as far in as possible.
Never going to do that in my own boat.

If anyone wants to try it I have a beach booked in July 2017 which allows for high speed beach landings with light weapons :)

I have the beach (still have the uniforms) .. but no way I'm beaching my boat at speed.

When we did it one boat broke gearbox .... and another badly dinged the prop ..... no worries ... rows of crated engines, new one fitted for the afternoon - REME are pretty good at that.
