In my case I left the original Sea Ray Bow Cover on my boat in the barn last year and was invaded by mice, leaving a dozen holes in the cover, rendering it useless, plus they had chewed through the Canvas overall fitted cover.
I called Nickys Canvasworks who are at Brighton Marina and Nicky couldn't have been more helpful. We took the old Bow Cover down as a template and she matched the material exactly to the cockpit camping cover colour, bearing in mind the old covers are 25 odd years old and a type of two tone cotton twine. Only difference, it's a modern synthetic breathable material but the same pattern, incredible.
The only downside was that she preferred that I brought the boat to her so that she could fit the press studs properly rather than use the old cover measurements, she said it was more accurate. One of the studs was missing off the boat so she moved the cover stud slightly and popped in a new one, all in the price.
Next I gave her the fitted Sea Ray heavy overall canvas cover which the little blighters had chewed through and she put several patches on that too. A cheap over cover is about £100, however proper breathable semi waterproof covers are upwards of £400. I had change out of £200 for the lot.
They have a well stocked chandlery (very dangerous while you're waiting
If you want covers, cushions, sails made or repaired in the Brighton or South Coast area I can highly recommend her.
